The objective of this activity is putting on practice the past simple.

First, you have to read the followings paragraphs about the last movie that I saw. Then, write about the last movie that you saw and write a short summary about it. After that, write a comment in all of your partners' posts, for example, write about if you saw the same movie and what was your opinion about the movie according to the summary. Last weekend!!!

On saturday, I was so bored at home and I did not have any plans to do with my family because they were traveling to Medellin. So, I called one of my friends, her name is Yulieth. She told that she wanted to see a good movie, for that reason, we decided to go to the cinema to see "Batman, the dark knight rises". The movie began eight years after the events in "The Dark Knight," Batman disappeared from Gotham City, but he had a new reclusive Bruce Wayne. Wayne Enterprises created  a clean energy project that he and executive board member Miranda Tate invested in. It was designed to harness nuclear fusion. Bane killed Wayne's business rival Daggett and revealed that he was using the other industrialist's construction firms to stage a robbery against Wayne Enterprises' Applied Science Division. While trapped, Wayne learned the story of a child who managed to escape the inescapable. He believed Bane was that child. Bane, meanwhile, trapped the Gotham City police department underground. He has set the Wayne Enterprises fusion core  to detonate if anyone attempted to leave the city. The One Percent of Gotham had the choice between death or "exile". Wayne, in the meanwhile, escaped and recovered himself, to be Batman.

Batman confronted Bane, but Miranda Tate intervened and revealed herself to be Talia al Ghul, the real leader of the League of Shadows and Ra's al Ghul's daugther. She, not Bane, escaped the prison as a child, and during the escape Bane was permanently scarred. Commissioner Gordon disables the bomb's remote detonation functionality, and as Catwoman killed Bane, Batman chased Talia. The bomb was set to go off, and Talia died, but was confident that the bomb cannot be stopped.

Batman airlifts the bomb beyond the city limits, used a helicopter developed by Fox, leaving it to detonate over the ocean.The world now believed Batm
an to be dead, Bruce Wayne, on the other hand, was also believed dead, one of the casualties of the violence that tore through Gotham.  Alfred saw Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle together in a cafe in Italy. Meanwhile John Blake, whose first name turned out to be Robin, inherited the Batcave.

This is a trailer of the movie, if you like action movies I recommend you that movie; even though, the movie was too long for me.
